New Product
The new product I decided to research is Verizon Wireless’s Motorola Krzr. The krzr has been deemed the improved version of the razr. The krzr weighs in at 3.6oz and is 4.05 by .73 by 0.67 inches in size. That may be amazing but I’m not done yet. The krzr also has an average talk time of about 4 ½ hours and a standby time of 18 days. That is unless you’re like me and dropped the phone in water which caused it not to work as well. Stupid manufactures don’t know how to make Tamara proof phones.
Basic features Include: Alarm clock, note pad, text and multimedia messaging, vibrate mode and voice recorder.
Advanced Features Include: A mini USB port, e-mail, PC syncing, speaker phone, voice dialing and commands, and a 1,000-contact phone book with room in each entry for five phone numbers and two e-mail addresses.
The not so good parts mainly revolve around the camera. The picture camera is only 1 mega pixel and has no flash option. The video camera can take about 14 second clips and when I record my godchildren; I want it to be 1 clip NOT 20! The only other disadvantage is the glass portion of the phone. Yes these people are rocket scientist and made the front screen out of glass. Anyone what to guess how long it took me to crack it? It only took about 2 weeks after I got it. Go me!
All in all I would say that the krzr is a very attractive phone with as many features as the average person needs. Every phone has its bad parts but I would say that the krzr is on the bottom side of the list. I would recommend this phone to anyone, just watch out for those evil yoo-hoo bottles that break the screen.
